Patryk Rybczyński, PhD student at Doctoral School of Exact and Natural Sciences NCU, has published his research in a prestigious Chemical Science journal (first author).
The research was focused on the synthesis of new fluorescent molecules, for which the fluorescence quantum yield was tuned between 0.4 and 98%. This was achieved only by changing the position of two substituents in the structure of the benzotiazoles carrying BF2-moiety.
The editorial board decided to publish the research in a special collection named "2022 Chemical Science HOT Article Collection". In parallel the investigation on application of these dyes in bioimaging is being performed.
