General information

The aim of the KATAMARAN Project funded by Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange NAWA (agreement no. PPI/KAT/2019/1/00018/U/00001) is to support Polish higher education institutions in creating and implementing international curricula on joint second-cycle studies leading to obtaining a joint or double diploma. The Project is carried out at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń (Faculty of Chemistry) between October 1st, 2019 and March 31st, 2021.

The KATAMARAN Project will enable  the development of curricula for joint international second-cycle studies. Our activities will result in preparing a new educational course MODERN MATERIALS FOR CHEMISTRY AND MEDICINAL APPLICATIONS at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń (Faculty of Chemistry) and the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.

Activities related to the above mentioned tasks will involve

  • development of the merit-based curriculum for the studies in cooperation with the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy as well as preparation of didactic materials to support the students;
  • purchasing textbooks and educational materials;
  • English proofreading of the curriculum and teaching materials;
  • organization of domestic and foreign working meetings for staff;
  • publishing and distribution of information concerning the planned opening of the new educational course.

The budget – 700,000 PLN

The direct Project implementation costs comprise merit-based tasks (i.e. eligible costs of individual activities directly related to these tasks and performed  by the Beneficiary under the Project) necessary to achieve the Project aims and will be incurred during the Project implementation.

Project financing will not cover-management costs, i.e. administrative expenses which cannot be classified as direct merit-based activities planned under the Project (e.g. costs covered by the Coordinator, costs of the Project management, utilities, etc.).
